Introducing Priyanka Dhir from Fashion 4 us

Hello my lovely readers!

In this post I want to introduce Priyanka Dhir, a fashion blogger from India that had the amazing idea of making a guest blog post.

Priyanka is the blogger of  Fashion 4 us, and she's a very sweet and determined girl. I'm following her blog for several reasons: first of all, she has a really big and impressive bags collection, and this is also the reason why I'm quite jealous of her ;P

Also during the past days I've been talking to her to organize this post, and I've found that she's a true fashion lover, determined to find her role in the big and glittering fashion system. She's studying at college now, and then she wants to enter to some fashion school in India, and in her free time she manages her fashion blog sharing her outfits with people worldwide.

So here is the interview I made to Priyanka with some of her outfits, enjoy it!

Me : can you tell me something about you (name, age, country you're from, what you do in your life, your hobbies)?

Priyanka :  My name is Priyanka Dhir , 20 years old from New delhi ,India

Currently a student graduating in a month . . I Love shopping , reading, exploring different places and meeting new people all over the world.

Me: What inspired you to start blogging ?

Priyanka : Well, I started blogging in december 2011 . I had much free time and wanted to express my love for fashion to the world which became a success and it makes me really happy !

  

Me : Describe your personal style

Priyanka : Edgy feminine and classy  . I love experimenting with colors and patterns . I hav no particular style statement as it gets monotonous and i am not afraid of experimenting! I spend hours looking at my closet mixing different pieces with shoes and accessories , once i'm done the product comes out to be almost perfect ! 

Me: Who is your inspiration / style icon ?

Priyanka: Blake lively ! hands down! Everyone follows GOSSIP GIRL and there is an arch rivalry between serena and blair , but for me it is serena all the way . I relate to her style a lot. Fun,edgy classy and sexy ! That's what it is for me!

Also Sarah Jessica Parker ( Carrie from Sex And The City ) for her beautiful much coveted shoes!

Me: how often do you go shopping? and do you prefer going shopping with friends or alone?

Priyanka: That's a tough one . I can say on an average i shop every month . i am on online shopaholic , when i go out shopping i mostly go out with friends or family as it gets easy when there is someone to give a second opinion .

Me: 3 items and 3 colours you will wear for sure this summer

Priyanka: 3 items - colourful footwear , lots of accessories ( bracelets,earrings,necklaces,rings) , and Beautiful colourful bags .

3 colours : Mint , Peach/tangerine , and white .

Me: 3 places you want to visit and the best 3 you've visited

Priyanka: 3 places i want to visit would be China for their exquisite flea markets , Italy for being such a romantic and beautiful place , and Paris the fashion capital ! 3 best places i have visited are Pattaya-Thailand for it's beautiful beaches and shopping , Ooty - India , for the beautiful location and weather , and Singapore as it was my first trip abroad ever and i can never forget it !

Me : what are the five must haves in every girl's wardrobe according to you?

Priyanka: 1. Well fitted pair of blue denim jeans

                2. A plain white shirt / blouse

                3. The classic LBD ( Little Black Dress)

                4. A comfortable and elegant pair of heels.

                5. A leather/denim jacket as they can never go out of style

Me : Favourite color ? and Favourite fashion trend?

 Priyanka : Favourite color - BLACK 

               Favourite fashion trend - COLOUR BLOCKING

Me: your favourite fashion item? (garment, shoes, bags, jewelry) ?

Priyanka: BAGS! I have been complemented for my collection of bags and It is indeed the first fashion item i actually look for while shopping.
 

Me : Favourite designer ?

Priyanka: COCO CHANEL - My icon . She brought in  elegance and class and inspiration to the fashion world.

Me : Any tips to the bloggers around the world ?

Priyanka:    Blog about what you love what you are passionate about without thinking of how many followers or comments you will have. Do not fear criticism !

Me: How do you look at yourself in ten years?

 Priyanka:  Ten years down the line i see myself  having studied fashion from a renowned institute , well settled as a fashion stylist , married and of  course still blogging and reaching out to all the wonderful people in the world! :)

In questo post voglio parlarvi di Priyanka Dihr, una fashion blogger indiana con la quale ho deciso di scrivere  un guest blog post.

Priyanka è l'autrice del blog Fashion 4 us, ed è una ragazza molto dolce e determinata.

Seguo il suo blog per diversi motivi: per prima cosa ha una vastissima e impressionante collezione di borse, motivo per cui sono anche  un pò invidiosa di lei ;P

Inoltre  parlando con lei nei giorni in cui abbiamo organizzato questo post ho realizzato che è un'autentica amante della moda, determinata a farsi spazio in questo sfavillante ambiente. Attualmente è una studentessa di lingue, ma spera presto di entrare a far parte di qualche importante scuola di moda in India. Nel tempo libero si dedica al suo blog condividendo con i suoi lettori i suoi look.

Mi racconti qualcosa di te?

Priyanka: Mi chiamo Priyanka Dhir, ho 20 anni e vivo a New delhi, in India. Terminerò gli studi il mese prossimo, e le mie passioni sono lo shopping, la lettura, scoprire nuovi posti e conoscere persone da tutto il mondo

Cosa ti ha spinto a creare un blog?

Ho iniziato a dicembre 2011, avevo molto tempo libero e volevo comunicare la mia passione per la moda al mondo, e ci sono riuscita ottenendo risultati che mi rendono molto soddisfatta!

 

 Descrivi il tuo stile personale

Curato , femminile e classico. Mi piace sperimentare colori e tessuti. Non seguo regole precise perchè mi annoierei, e soprattutto non ho paura di sperimentare stili nuovi! Passo molto tempo a fissare i capi nel mio armadio e ad abbinare vestiti ed accessori, e quando ho finito il risultato è quasi perfetto!

Chi è la tua icona di moda?

Blake Lively! Chi segue Gossip girl conosce la rivalità tra Blair e Serena, e io preferisco senza dubbio quest'ultima. Il mio stile si ispira molto a quello di Serena, che è divertente, sofisticato e sexy! Sembra fatto apposta per me!

Mi piace anche Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie di Sex and The City) per la sua strepitosa collezione di scarpe!

 Con che frequenza fai shopping? preferisci spendere da sola o in compagnia?

Mediamente  compro qualcosa ogni mese, mi piace spendere in internet, e mi piace fare acquisti con gli amici o i parenti per avere diversi pareri.

3 capi e 3 colori che indosserai quest'estate

Scarpe colorate, molti accessori come bracciali, orecchini, collane e anelli, e borse colorate. Per i colori scelgo il verde menta, il pesca e il bianco.

3 posti che vuoi visitare e 3 posti che hai nel cuore

Vorrei visitare la Cina per i suoi splendidi mercatini, L'Italia perchè è un posto bellissimo e romantico,  Parigi perchè è la capitale della moda!

I 3 posti più belli che ho visitato sono Pattaya in Tailandia, con le sue bellissime spiagge e i negozi- Ooty in India, una bellissima località dal clima ideale -Singapore, perchè è il primo luogo in assoluto che ho visitato e mi è rimasto nel cuore!

Quali sono i 5 must have in un guardaroba?

1 un paio di jeans comodi

2 Un camicia/ blusa bianca

3 un vestito nero

4 un paio di tacchi comodi ed eleganti

5 una giacca di pelle che perchè non passa mai di moda

 Colore e trend preferiti?

Il colore preferito è il nero, la tendenza è il color blocking

Il capo che preferisci in assoluto?

Le borse! Ricevo spesso complimenti per la mia collezione, e le borse sono la prima cosa a cui punto quando faccio shopping

   

Il tuo stilista preferito?

Coco Chanel, è la mia icona. Ha fatto conoscere classe ed eleganza al mondo intero.

Qualche dritta alle fashion bloggers?

Scrivete delle cose che amate senza pensare a quanti commenti e followers avete. E non abbiate paura delle critiche!

Come ti vedi fra 10 anni?

Avrò sttudiato moda in un famoso istituto, sarò un'affermata fashion stylist, sposata e sicuramente continuerò a scrivere il mio blog sperando di raggiungere sempre più persone!
